Our Story
Suricom Consultants Ltd was founded in 1997 by the late Ms Demetra Chrysostomou, who envisioned the benefits local companies will have in expanding their business beyond Cyprus and export their products worldwide. She was already very familiar with international trade exhibitions, being an exhibitor herself for the promotion of her previous business, as toy manufacturer. Her initiative was embraced by many trade exhibition organizers who have decided to assign Suricom as their sales representative not only for Cyprus but also for Greece. Suricom was actually the very first sales representative recruited by Dubai World Trade Center for Gulfood!
With her enthusiasm, commitment and determination she managed to assist Greek and Cypriot companies to exhibit their products in various exhibitions worldwide, resulting in an enormous boost in the exporting sector of both countries.
Meet the team
Marina Chrysostomou (Ms)
– Managing Director
Marina has joined the company in 2021 and took over the position of the Managing Director following the passing of her mother in May 2022. She is Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant with a 23 years’ experience in the Banking Sector. She handles all matters relating to the management, marketing, development, financial and operational activities of the firm.
Anna Irodotou (Ms)
– Exhibitions Director
Anna has joined the company in 2008. With more than 15 years of experience in the exhibition business, she is responsible for the recruitment of the exhibitors, their support through all the stages of the organization of the exhibition and she is always present on site during the exhibition for supervision and assistance.
